PROVAIL's Employment Services program provides community-based vocational assessments, individualized job placement, job coaching, and supportive employment for adults with disabilities. We partner with the business community to recruit, hire, and train employees with disabilities.
Our Employment Coaches work with companies to create customized positions that allow future growth and career advancement, offer competitive wages and benefits, and promote community presence and inclusion.

The self-respect, confidence, independence, and deeper sense of dignity that results when someone is employed is immeasurable. The impact of this program is not just on the employee. Businesses repeatedly report that having a fully inclusive workforce enhances the work environment for all of their employees and increases company productivity. Over 175 businesses in our area partner with PROVAIL to create a community that is inclusive and AbilityAware!
Employment Consultants are college educated, highly professional consultants with at least two years' experience in the field of disability services. All Employment Consultants must pass annual background checks and maintain certification in CPR, first aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen/HIV/AIDS training. They also receive competence-based training in Positive Behavioral Supports, Social Security issues, Job Development, Boundaries, Systematic Instruction, Job Carving and Creation, Emergency Preparedness, Customized Employment, Mandated Reporting and the development of Person Centered Plans. Continuing education is promoted for all staff with ongoing training in best practices.Meet the Employment Team
PROVAIL has three-year accreditation by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Our accreditation is for: job development, job-site training, job supports, transition services and employment planning. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
