TBI Boarding Home
In 2013, PROVAIL purchased a Shoreline property designated for a future Boarding Home for people who have experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI). PROVAIL will build a state-of-the-art facility designed to support survivors of TBI who need additional medical and therapeutic support. Designed specifically for the needs of those with a TBI, this Boarding Home will provide 24 hour supportive care and access to therapy with a strong focus on each individual's needs and independence. The project's full funding is expected from the State Housing Trust Fund and the King County Housing Program. If all funding and construction goes according to plan. We anticipate the home to open for new resident by early 2015.
PROVAIL's TBI Boarding Home will be located in Shoreline, WA, just north of Seattle.
The project has been funded by The King County Housing and Community Development Program and the State of Washington Housing Trust Fund, for a total of $2,431,880. With the full funding request awarded, we hope to have the TBI Boarding Home ready for occupancy in 2015.
