Employment Consultant

Description:

PROVAIL is currently looking for a full-time EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT to support individuals with developmental disabilities in obtaining employment in their community. The Employment Consultant position involves partnering with the local business community in King and Snohomish counties to create customized job opportunities. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, organized, creative and passionate about an inclusive community. The Employment Consultant position involves analyzing business needs, providing systematic instruction, developing person centered employment plans, and providing ongoing support to both the employer and employee.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in business, social work, education, or other related field preferred; two year's experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting may be substituted. Must be able to successfully pass a Background Check; possess a current Washington State Drivers License with an acceptable driving record; and own a licensed, dependable, legal vehicle with automobile insurance coverage.

Team Coordinator

Schedule:

Full Time

Duties:

Supervise Support & Instructional Staff for assigned house, including performance management and evaluations, job orientation, training and discipline.

Facilitate a team-based environment in which staff provide support and instruction to clients to increase their independence and ability to make appropriate choices. Schedule staff according to client needs, within program and agency guidelines. Ensure effective coordination of residence operation, coordinate health maintenance related activities and individual support planning for clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Registered/Certified as Nursing Assistant.
  • Minimum one year experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience working with people with challenging behaviors.
  • Must meet FA/CPR, bloodborne pathogens requirements.
  • Must be able to safely perform client transfers.
  • Experience in effectively managing crisis situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, management, health care staff and others, as required, both orally and in writing.
  • Must have current and valid Washington State drivers license and own vehicle.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
