PROVAIL seeks motivated, energetic and committed individuals from diverse backgrounds to join our Board of Directors.

Applicants should have:

·         A passion to advance our mission of supporting people with disabilities to fulfill their life choices

·         The drive and availability to actively participate in long-term strategic planning and regular governance activities

·         A willingness to engage in fundraising and community activities

Responsibilities include:

·         Attending at least 80% of monthly Board meetings, which regularly occur on the fourth Thursday of each month from 4-5:30 pm.

·         Participating on at least one Board committee.

·         Making a personally meaningful financial gift each year and participating in at least two community or fundraising events.

·         Approving major actions of the organization such as capital expenditures and major program and service changes.

·         Completion of at least one three year term of service.
