PROVAIL’s mission is to support people with disabilities to fulfill their life choices. One way we complete this mission is through our Community Living Program. We have 20 homes throughout the greater Seattle area where adults with disabilities receive personal support so they can live and participate in the community as independently as possible.
Many of these houses are in need of equipment for general maintenance, and some of the individuals living in the homes have asked for specific items. These items are a stretch for our clients to purchase on a fixed income.
Donated items and equipment are accepted either used or new; we just ask that the used supplies be in good condition.
There is the option to allocate a dollar amount less than the purchase price to help pay for part of an item. All donations are tax deductible.
Pressure Washer - needed for maintenance and upkeep of exteriors, porches, roofs, gutters, driveways, sidewalks garden and lawn equipment.

Weed Whacker – needed for general maintenance of lawns.

Lawn Mowers – for general maintenance of lawns.
Purchase price – $160.00 each
Ladders and long brooms – to clean the mobility vans we use to transport the people in our community living program.
Kitchenware – for daily use in our community living homes.
Utensils – $29.99

Art Supplies – these include but are not limited to:
Paints, finger paints, large paint brushes, markers, paper, easels (preferably adjustable for wheelchair access), canvas, drop cloths, smocks ect.
Interior Painting – many of our community living homes are in need of a new coat of paint on their walls.
Estimated cost per room including labor, brushes, rollers, paints and drop-cloths - $125
One or more of these painting supplies could also be individually donated.
Bookshelves – some of the homes are in need of more bookshelves to replace old ones, and to hold their expanding collections of books, DVD’s and other media.

Curtains – per request of some of the residents in our community living homes, we could use an update on our curtains for some of the houses.

Cookbooks – these should be current, not out of date, and ones that are diabetic friendly and/or have cooking in “plain language” please.
