PROVAIL provides creative technology based solutions to help children and adults with disabilities maximize their abilities and independence.

Donated items and equipment are accepted either used or new; we just ask that the used supplies be in good condition.

There is the option to allocate a dollar amount less than the purchase price to help pay for part of an item. All donations are tax deductible.

Basic PC compatible USB joysticks or gamepads - Controllers would be used with donated software.

Benefit - These items would be switch adapted for use by clients.
Cost - $22

Two "Windows Vista" Laptop computers for the A.T. lab - New "Dell" or "HP" laptops with high performance audio, memory, and large screen display with the latest accessibility features found in "Windows Vista".

Benefit - This will allow us to expand our Computer Camp for children and make a larger group of campers more feasible. A higher end laptop is needed to offer features such as text to speech, speech recognition, and a larger 17 in monitor to accommodate vision deficits children may have.
Cost - $3,000 each

Benefit - The projector is essential for running group activities on the computer during computer camp, and will allow everyone to view the material that is being covered.Cost - $1,010

"DA-LITE" Model B 120" Pull-Down Projection Screen - 120" diagonal screen with wide borders. 1.8 screen gain for wide viewing angles.

Benefit - The projection screen is necessary to display projector images.
Cost - $310

Sony DCR-SR300 Handycam Digital Camcorder with Accessories - This is a 3.0 megapixel digital camcorder with: a 40GB internal hard drive; 10x optical/20x digital zoom; 2.7" touch-panel LCD.

Benefit - This camcorder serves several purposes. It allows us to add a custom multimedia aspect to Computer Camp which has proven to be a camper favorite. The camera with a large display window and tripod can allow campers with physical disabilities to access it themselves and take video.
Cost - $1,213

"Infinity 4830" Adjustable Computer Work Station & Activity Table – A computer table (48 inches long and 30 inches deep) with motorized height adjustment.

Benefit - This table is adjustable allowing for increased independence in seating to a height appropriate to needs and individual seating systems. The smaller size compared to our existing tables will also help to use our space more efficiently and increase the number of people we can serve in the lab at one time.

Cost - $1,462

2 "AFS-GRM" Cable management grommets - A hole cut into the "Infinity" table with a cable guide to manage device cables at the back of the table.

Benefit - This feature helps to keep cables organized and out of reach of children.

2 "AFS-CCF" Cable Control Freeways" - A tray guide mounted on the underside of the back of the Infinity table.

Benefit - This helps to route device cables cleanly to where the need to go and out of reach of children.
Cost - $13 each

New or Unused copies of the 'Windows 98' or Newer operating systems (need the product keys) - These operating systems will be used in conjunction with donated computer hardware.

Benefit - We have donated computer hardware that many clients would be able to take advantage of for home use but the hardware usually does not come with a copy of "Windows".
